Weight: Total = 5.5kg, wk 3 = 1.3kg - overall I lost 12cm from my waist, 3cm from my thighs and 3cm from my arms... bye bye toxins!
Mood: Ninja tells me there is such a thing called "Blue Monday" - the 3rd Monday of January - most people haven't seen through their New Years resolutions, they are back at work, etc, well it hit me hard! The bottom lip was out for the ENTIRE day. Fortunately, I recovered by the Tuesday. My boy left for Oz so I was very glad to be out of my funk and rather chipper for the rest of the week! In fact, the last few days I was feeling pretty damn chuffed with myself and my achievement. There is a lot to be said for a bit of willpower and a great self-satisfaction that comes with body confidence!
Observations: my dark circles are dark quarter-circles - bah humbug! but I can't complain, I feel really light, and much less puffy! I went for a massage yesterday as the book says I deserved a treat... it was lovely... until my masseuse told me I looked tired and should put a hot towel over my eyes! Charmer!
Oh and Ladies, drastic reduction in cellulite... as the book says eating certain food promotes circulation!
Exercise: managed 3 DVDs and a 4km run... oh plus a shopping expedition to Omotesando to a couple of Organic stores Julie recommended - Logona & Friends, and Amritara House - both were great - here's my loot...
Principles I'll take away from this: Minimise the number of toxins going in to your body in the first place - moderation for any "naughty" foods and switch to natural products where possible. Also the hot water with lemon and olive oil at night gives me a flat belly in the morning - love it!
Having said all that - I do full intend to have a piece of chocolate and a glass of red wine tonight :)
